Testimony Guidelines
TestimonyTube exists to give God the glory and to encourage others. To keep every video safe for the whole family, every submission is watched and approved before it is posted. Please read these guidelines before you record.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy. (Psalm 107:2, KJV)
1. Keep it clean
- No profanity, not even bleeped or "mild." If Grandma couldn't listen to it over and over, it won't be posted.
- Describe hard seasons honestly, but skip graphic details. Say what happened without painting every picture.
- No music you don't own in the background. YouTube may block it, and we can't post it.
2. Point to God
- Tell what was happening, what God did, and what changed in your life.
- Keep the focus on Him, not on attacking a person, church, or group.
- No selling, fundraising, or promoting a business or ministry in your video.
3. Protect people's privacy
- Don't use the full names of other people without their permission.
- Don't share addresses, phone numbers, or anything that could identify children.
4. Staying anonymous
You never have to show your face. To stay private, point the camera at a picture, some flowers, or the sky while you talk. You can also check "Keep me anonymous" on the form, and we'll list you only as "Anonymous." Your testimony still counts.
5. Recording tips
- Aim for 2 to 10 minutes.
- Find a quiet room. Turn off the TV and fans.
- Hold your phone sideways (landscape) and keep it steady, or lean it against something.
- Face a window for good light.
6. How to send it
- Upload your video to YouTube and set it to Unlisted.
- Copy the link.
- Paste it on our Share Your Testimony form.
We host videos on YouTube only, so please don't send files or links from other sites.
What happens next
We watch every submission. If it fits these guidelines, we'll feature it on the Watch page. We may not post every video, and we won't edit your words. If we have a question, we'll email you. You can ask us to take your testimony down at any time by using the contact page.
Cartoon stories (optional)
Some approved testimonies may also be retold as a short animated cartoon, with cartoon characters acting out the story, so kids and families can enjoy them too. This only happens if you check the cartoon box on the form. The message stays yours, no real faces are used, and every cartoon is reviewed before it is posted.
